"Think before buying..."
AMERICAN PRIDE vs. WALMART AND MOST OTHER STORES
Do you know who made your clothes, who gets your money, and what it is doing to destroy
your country's economy? Are you enabling and supporting abusive slavery when you buy clothing
without looking at the tag and making an informed decision? Is it time for you to let your money
vote for and against what you decide is acceptable and unacceptable from huge corporate 'slave drivers?'
We need to ask ourselves how would we would feel about being enslaved because of millions
of ignorant consumers worldwide, including in our own country, refusing to inform themselves
and boycott your captors' products? (See links below)
Yes, purchasing something without regard to it's origin is irresponsible and probably results
in the continued abuse of innocent children and adults in far away places.
Do we care? "This is exactly what is taking place all over the world and all over this country. "
How can we be proud of our country, but not proud of our own choices?
Takes that whole pride thing down a notch or two, doesn't it?

We have tremendous power when we make informed choices:
Where are the items made that we are considering purchasing?
By whom? Under what circumstances?

These are questions that can make buying
more time consuming, but that allow us
to exercise one of our greatest powers:
Voting with our feet and our money!
Money IS power, even in small amounts.....
in the hands of many!

There is great motivation on the part of companies
to find cheap labor...Sometimes it works for
the advantage of the workers, who may have new
opportunities to better their daily existence.

But there are still some problem areas, situations
where slavery is still being used to make a profit!

When we reward these companies by giving them our money,
people continue to be enslaved.....
Too often, the retail store is all we see
of a product's manufacturing history,
and we become ignorant supporters of other people's abuse.
Think about it. :o0

Find a brand that you can investigate.
Communicate with them and let them know
that you are keeping an eye on their process,
and will abandon them if you find out
they have slavery in their business plan!

As more people let companies know
that they are intelligently voting with their feet and their money,
companies will begin to compete with each other on those issues,
and once again, the world will be a better place. And think about this:
When one person says "I can't make a difference,"
millions of people just like them don't. :O)

Each person has a responsibility to do
what their conscience tells them is right.....
and enabling slavery isn't.
Help spread the word with this long needed message!

YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE WORLD?
Well, YOU and I CAN!
If one person at a time makes big box stores successful,
one person at a time can make a difference!
Go buy something...Intelligently!
