American Food Supply Issues The very definition of 'getting old' is tainted with the results of years of nutritional abuse in the face of years of polluted air, water, and food products, so that now many people think that disease and dysfunction are acceptable with aging. More and more people are becoming aware of the insidious lies of omission... silently supported by food manufacturers, importers, retailers, the medical industry, and even the government. There is clear evidence that our food supply is being 'drugged' just to ensure we become addicted and eat more! We are not being protected, nor are we being properly fed, and those in control are manipulating our consumption patterns simply to make larger and larger profits! Convenience comes with giant, hidden trade-offs that make us sick..and keep us fat! Only we, as informed consumers, can change this by demanding honest, clear labelling, and educating ourselves to make choices based on good information. Until then, we shall continue to drink chloride/flouride poisoned water, breathe industrial polluted air, and eat amended, disease causing ... OBESITY CAUSING ... less nutritious food. The word 'allergy' refers to the body's over-reaction to a chemical, natural or man-made. MSG by it's very nature causes an overreaction ... in the brain:: It is a brain excitotoxin. A neurotoxin. It is referred to as 'the heroin (or nicotine) for food.' Large amounts of protein, in a balanced form such as meat, may 'mask' the more obvious symptoms, but the overreaction is still taking place, and can result in brain cell death and any attending or longer term problems. MSG is monosodium glutamate, one of several amino acids that together create a whole protein. When this balance is upset, the brain reacts displaying various symptoms ... from an exaggerated and pleasant experience of taste [I just love those (fill in the blank) from (f i t b)]... to nausea & vomiting, migraine headache, brain cell death, and loss of life. Realize now that when you talk about how good something tastes, you are likely to be commenting on how much your brain cells got excited by the imbalance caused by the added msg in your food! This makes advertisements based on taste experiences tricky ... if not oversimplified and misleading. MSG also causes a shift in energy availability vs. energy storage, from 60-40 to 40-60, which means an energetic, slender person eat their way into a chronic lower energy plus weight gain.
